This month in honor of Zoe's Birthday our feature is for the Rhythm of Life Project. ROL helps raise awareness for kids fighting Neuroblastoma cancer and Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS); My daughter Zoe was born with both of these horrible diseases and continues to fight her battles on a daily basis. Her cancer is in remission. However, the OMS (which only effect 1 in 10 million) has been far worse than the cancer ever was. Basically, her immune system attacks her brain. So, the "treatment" is to suppress her immune system. She is on chemotherapy once a week in addition to many other daily meds and tube feedings.
